presentation INFLUENCE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE A CASE STUDY OF SALAM AIR (OMAN)
Salam Air is one of the well-known companies in the Sultanate of Oman, which is characterized by flexible leadership, which made it succeed in a short period of time. This study investigates transformational leadership in Salam Airline by examining three elements: inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individual considerations, and how it is applied in the company and what is its impact on employee performance. The study included an explanation of the theory of transformational leadership and the theory of transactional leadership. The study used a sample size of 88 Salam Airline employees and an interview with one of the company's leaders. Excel was used to analyze the data and previous literature on transformational leadership was reviewed. The study found that there is a direct positive effect of the components of transformational leadership: inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individual considerations on raising the performance and efficiency of employees and their role in the growth of the company. The study concludes that transformational leadership has a role in increasing employee commitment to the company and ensuring the achievement of organizational goals. The study recommends the necessity of recognizing the employees' achievements and supporting aspects of innovation and creativity.
